Default Nappy diposable service or system

I have a newborn and 2.5 yr old (process of toilet training) both in disposables (no, I wont be changing to cloth) and our rubbish bin gets too full before the collection day (with general rubbish too).
Is there a service in Melb that collects disposable nappies?
OR Should I purchase one of those units that squashes them in the unit bin, would that reduce the size of them?

can you speak to your council about getting an extra bin for the time you have 2 in nappies?
it will cost you a fee but should be easy to organise

Your council should be able to provide you with a second bin. We asked (used to live in Ascot Vale) & it cost us $50. They are supposed to review the need for it after a year but our council never did.

Its $200 extra per yr for another bin! Dh just went around to the neighbours last night and put some extra rubbish in their bins (they were collected this morning)
