Oh how exciting! It's such an emotional rollercoaster but one that is worth every second. It's definitly good to have an outlet to be able to talk to others who have been through it/ are going through it so it doesn't all get ontop of you. All the best!!

I must say our mind was so wrapped around getting prego the first month and were dissapointed....so the next month we just didnt talk or think about it...just made sure we kept checking if she was ovulating and continued to inseminate and still make love and here we are preganant...starting our 5th week today!

I really don't want to bring the mood down, and it's not my usual style...
I am seriously struggling at the moment.

I'm on Metformin to try to regulate my body, with some signs it's working.
I have a FS appointment late May to discuss Clomid.

I'm just feeling so down and so lost because it seems to be taking so long for anything to happen.

Everyone else in my family falls pregnant easily, and have the added benefit of being heterosexual or bisexual.

I have no choice but to obsess over every little thing my body is doing, trying to work out when is a good time to try to inseminate....

We tried again last Thursday, only for AF to arrive Friday.

    I'm just feeling defeated...
Being a mother is the only thing I ever dreamed of for myself... And it feels like its no more I. Reach than it was almost a year ago when we started trying.

How is it fair that people can have babies and then lose them to foster care regularly (some cousins) yet I seem to not be able to have even one child, who would be loved and cherished.

How do I do this month after month?
How do I know when it's time to step aside and let my DP try instead?

I have no close friends to discuss my feelings with.
My bestie has a 4 day old so there's no way in hell I'm going to lay it all on her.

    Thanks very much xxx

I have PCOS so I'm not really ovulating, hoping the meds sort that out.

Thought we had it pinned this time, but AF was 2 weeks earlier than usual.
It's a good sign, that the meds are probably working, but upsetting at the same time.... We didn't even get 24 hours to hope.

I'm so happy you have a bub on the way xxxx

Purpz- I can't imagine the pain and uncertainty of pcos but I do understand the lesbian side and things not just happening 'naturally'... Iv lost 2 babies and a speck so I also know the pain of others 'easily' having what you so desperatly want.... All I can say is, take one day at a time. Focus on you, don't look at others and compare. It's hard but if you loose focus you will drive yourself crazy with jealousy.
You know what the issues are- pcos- so that's a good thing really (as opposed to 'undiagnosed infertility') this means you have treatment options and its only a matter of time untill you find what meds work for you. If your seeing improvements now then that is a great sign! Keep tracking all your symptoms and charting everything so you can try get patterns going (which I'm sure your doing)
I know it's easy for me on the outside to say all this, and I know it's just devestateing when it's you and your life but look after yourself, don't be afraid to talk about your worries and keep strong. Sending you lots of love and light xxx

I'm sorry for your losses xxx

    I'm much calmer this afternoon.
After spending the better part of my day sulking, dp bought me some chocolate and listened to me.

I guess it's going to be a bumpy ride until we finally reach babyville.... But it will happen when it's time x

Thanks for letting me rant xxxx

What a wonderful group too be a part of. I am sending my very best positive vibes to those who are struggling. I see the specialist on the 6th of April I am excited and terrified. I am on the chunky side so I am afraid he will refuse to help us on the basis of my weight. I am 35 in 18 mths so it isn't like I have heaps of time before my fertility drops. My Gp has been wonderful and wrote the most amazing referral for us (I have also lost 25 kgs in the last year she made sure she put that in bold type lol) Dp and I are both super nervous and hoping for the best.
