Got to be in it to win it, but only spend what you can afford.

If I got enough to pay off my parents mortgage as well, that'd be awesome too

I asked the 6 most important people in my life to pick a number and picked one myself...my ticket is sooo gonna win...

Oh, don't you wish!!! If that's the case I would buy a house, a new car for us plus a new 2nd car for DH.

That's really really dumb. The odds are not in their favour. It's pure luck... it's not like betting on sporting or races or something where some sort of level of skill is involved.

It is possible that the $2000 spent on tickets was for a group or work place or something.

We don't normally gamble at all, and only go in the huge draws for lotto. So I buy a $20 ticket today, which is alot for us lol get home and can't find the ticket so DH says what if someone picks it up and wins? so he goes down and buys ANOTHER ticket after I told him not to... and while he was gone found the ticket in my coin section of my wallet *face palm* oh well we have more chances to win the unwinnable lol

I'm keeping you company. I was about to say that I hadn't bought a lotto ticket in twenty years, but I am mistaken, I bought one about three years ago.

I have never purchased a lottery ticket in my life (and don't ever plan to).
