    Of course, people are free to spend whatever they want on lotto. It just boggles my mind a bit that's all - good luck to them if they do win though.

    That makes me a bit sad. I really, really hope the person who spent $2000 is already wealthy and won't miss that money, but I suspect its probably the opposite - someone who has a gambling problem or is desperate and is pinning their hopes on this. That money is almost certainly goooone. $10 is one thing, $2000, wow, a family would miss that big time.

    I forget the statistic but i know i was shocked at how many play lotto and count on winning, it is very sad that anyone would place all their hopes on winning something that has really very, very low odds.
    I do hope the $2000 person isn't putting all their savings on this thinking it will be a sure way to win
