Exactly 8 hours left until my test results are faxed to the neurologist and we find out if we can ttc this year, or have to wait another 2 years until the next appointment.

maybe more 'nervous anticipation' than exciting, but it *could* end up being exciting

    We have a go ahead!

Just got back and they said there's a 1 in 50 chance of a minor birth defect {such as cleft palate, reduced vision, reduced hearing}, but this is the very best medication they have at the present time, and it's either this, wait until they invent another medication and go through the two year's testing, or just be satisfied with the one child.

We're going to talk about it and decide if the risk is worth it. We think it is, living with the verbal, vision and hearing defect possibilities don't bother us. I know Auslan because my brother was born partially deaf and my sister was blind in one eye with reduced vision in the other.
I know how to live with kids that suffer with defects, and I never loved my siblings any less because they were special needs.
But still, a one in 50 chance...that's not much. And it's minor defects, not major.

Sad but I'm super excited for mother's day. I will have dinner cooked for me and a sleep in.

    I have no life.
