Default Fussy baby = fussy toddler?

DD isn't a fan of solids. We've tried puree, BLW etc, she's not really keen and will only taste a minimal bit. She'll occasionally eat what's we give her but then the next time we give her the same thing she'll screw up her face and refuse to eat or just play with it.

I know 'food is fun before she's one' so I'm not concerned about her not eating so much, but I am hoping that it won't be fighting food for the next umpteen years.

I was wondering if anyone else had a baby who disliked solids in the beginning but now is a good eater?

Oh she'll be 7 months next week.

My older son was uninterested in many solids before about 9 months (I wouldn't call such a young baby 'fussy', they are just getting used to the idea of food). Once he started finger foods, he ate more. When he was 1/2, he did the usual toddler refusals but since he was 3 (now 5), he is a great eater and usually keen to try new things

She's very little. Babies are ready for solids at different ages and I'd call her not really ready rather than fussy as such. My ds struggled with solids til about 10 or 11 months and then really took off! He's fussy, but just at the level of what I'd call pretty normal, but he eats heaps and always has since he got going on solids. Don't worry.
