Default Baby with a cold! Baby Vicks rub??

    Hello!
Not sure if this is the right section so sorry if it's not!
I need some advice please. My 15 week old DS is getting a cold - slight cough, runny nose and phlegm and sneezing. I'm taking him to the docs tomorrow morning. In the meantime, is there a product like Vicks for children that I can rub on him to help his breathing during naps and at night?

It's not advisable to put Vicks onto baby's skin. I used to put Vicks on a tissue or handkerchief then put it on bubs chest, Vicks side up.

Yep baby Vicks from the chemist or supermarket. There is also baby fess which is a great saline spray for their little noses. A steamy bathroom might help too.

Euckybear rub is great. Put it on his singlet and best tip - on the bottom of his feet. Works great for my dd

I second eucky bear rub, or you can get baby Vicks a bit on the chest, the back and definately on the bottoms of Bubs feet then put a pair of socks on him

Sent from my Racer using BubHub

I agree, eucky bear rub is lovely, I have used this for my kids. You can buy from the chemist, not too sure about from a supermarket though...
A vaporiser works well too if bub is chesty

    Thanks guys!
I'm bloody worried about whooping cough with everything going around atm. He doesn't have a fever though so we'll wait and see what the doc says.
