We want to have a white Christmas in Japan this year and we will have a 3-an-a-bit-year-old and a 15 month old. We would be travelling with my parents also. We haven't ever been to the snow so we just want the white xmas experience to play in the snow and hopefully learn to ski and go tobogganing etc. I know that Niseko and Saporo are quite a while away from the major cities that you would fly in to, and with two small children we would like to limit travelling time.

So, where would you suggest?
