Redcliffe vs Cabulture

So anyone know what's better?
Iv had my 2 at redcliffe and it was pretty good, I had great care and they were caring midwives (I had 2 csections) And I live 5 mins away from here
But I think this time I want a change, can anyone tell me bout cabulture hospital?

I don't think you get a choice? Don't they just accept you somewhere and that's it ?

Ill let you know soon Im due on Friday... No u can choose to go to caboolture just ask your gp for a referral there instead of redcliffe and if they say no after u get your referral just call caboolture and ask to be booked in... That's what i did they have been great with all my appointments so far.

Oh isn't it on zoning up there? I know here in south Brisbane you go where your zoned .

I had my twins at caboolture in 2010, they were fabulous! So lovely and caring!!

I am currently attending antenatal there for my bub due in october.

I think because redcliffe and caboolture hospital are so close you get a choice. I did anyway. I'd say stay with Redcliffe, if they were good and you were happy with your experience why change really? I was born at redcliffe and had my last baby there too and they were wonderful

Where I live I had the choice between Redcliffe and Caboolture. I had my son at Redcliffe and had ante-natal care through the Amity program which was great. Even though I now have PHI I'll go back to redcliffe next time.

Sorry to go a bit off topic op:

I had my first at redcliffe in 2010 and due to issues from my birth (3rd deg tearing and bladder/uterine prolapse) I'm having a c-sec this time round to prevent further damage.

Were your c-secs elective or emergency? I have been trying to find out policies on being separated from bub/if you can have bub in recovery etc. My next antenatal appt is in a few weeks and I can ask then, but I've been dying to find out and I've had 8 weeks in between appts so going a bit crazy!

How were your c-sec exp at redcliffe? I did post a thread a while ago and bump it a few times but I had no responses.

They were elective as my 1st was breech. They brought my 1st bubba in for a few mins in recovery to do a small breast feed, not long enough for a good one tho. My 2nd I bottle feed and I didn't see her again till I went to my room

it was a little hard but I new she was with her daddy
