give me pram ideas for a 2.5 yr old and newborn twins

i very recently found out that i am pregnant with twins! although ive got a while to go yet im wanting to get some suggestions for prams that might suit.
i have 2 dogs that i normally walk with my ds in a single pram so think its pretty essential to have a pram that will be suitable for walking with all 3.
so far have seen the abc adventure buggy but ive read they arent good for short people to see over!

When my twins are born my DS will be 2.5 too!

Hes gonna have to walk if its short distances or rotate with the babies with a sling, otherwise I'm getting him into riding a scooter now, or I'll sit him on that front bit of a mountain buggy duet. Or you could possibly use a toddler skateboard thing? I saw a lady the other day with a double pram with a seat on top and there is NO WAY I'm using one of them, it was MASSIVE!

i have the abc adventure buggy and i love it if you dont have the hood on the toddler seat its not as high my mum is a shorty (my nearly 8yr old is just a little shorter then her) and she can see over it if i dont have the hood on
or there is valco runabout twin with toddler seat
there the only 2 i can think of atm that take 3 sitting

I have the double adventure buggy with static toddler seat. It is easy to see over. The one that is impossible to see over is the reclining toddler seat which you don't need as the 2.5 year old won't need to nap in the pram.
Brilliant pram! Saved my sanity when I had 3 under 2!

i had thought of a toddler board. when i found out i was pregnant and was only expecting one newborn i was thinking of the baby jogger city select and did think i could put twins in it and ds on a toddler board. but what if he keeps getting on and off and how will i manage to keep both him, the dogs and the pram with the newborns safe?!

I wouldn't get an abc adventure buggy I've found mountain buggy are are much nicer, they have more head height in the hood and a higher seat back which will last you longer and the brake is better I would also look at a skate board for your 2.5 year old not a toddler seat I walk with a mountain buggy duo and my 3&4 year old now ride their bikes which is exercise for them as well but I do wish I had of gotten a skateboard when I purchased the pram but I managed with my DD in the ergo and my boys in the pram.

Also cost wise the abc adventure buggy + static toddler seat will cost you $1449 (gobubbago) and the mountain buggy duo + freerider $824.95 (pram warehouse) that's a huge $624.05 difference!

Meh, I disagree about the adventure buggy. Mine is awesome and has plenty of head room.
More to the point, I think if you are going on long walks with dogs etc you will wNt toddler to be sitting and contained. Also buggy boards aren't that comfortable to reach around to try and push the pram.
Ad buggies are exxy new but as you have plenty of time I'd pick a second hand one up on eBay, keep it at home for your walking pram and get a double stroller with toddler board to keep in the car.

I have an abc adventure buggy for my triplets. I put my 3y/o on a strolli rider. It is sort of like a bike and attaches to the pram. I love it. My son loves it as he thinks he is riding his bike. I never have to worry about him jumping off when we are out and about. He is sitting down so doesn't get tired. It sits to the side of the pram, doesn't get in the way.

I would never have got the abc adventure if I were only having twins. It is a great pram for three newborns because you can keep them all out of the wind, sun etc. if I had twins I would have got something that offers good weather protection and is light and fits in the boot easily. The abc is a massive pram, very heavy and hard to get in and out of the car if you are in a hurry.
