    Default Best nail polish

So who can recommend a really good nail polish?
I brought one the other day, it wasn't an expensive one about $10. I Put it on this morning and within an hour I had chipped 2 nails and had to clean it all off

Someone mentioned that you can buy nail polish that is like gel nails but just a polish and lasts for ages?

    Help!

    OPI is the best

ETA: Make sure you add a base coat and clear top coat as well...and sometimes if it's a dark colour you may need to reapply every few days if it's on the fingernails as chips are more obvious with darker colours.

OPI - it's frigging awesome, best nail polish (and I have hundreds of nailpolishs lol), they have the gel type polish you are speaking about. Costs around $18(basic colours) but can pay $30+ on others.

Pardon me for butting in, but is Opi one that you have to set with a UV lamp? Like Gelish or Shellac? Or is it just applied like regular polish and still lasts for a couple of weeks?
