Default Names you could never use?

I'm curious. What are the names you want to use but couldn't for whatever reason?

I love the name Tabitha. Can't do that. DH, DS AND the dog all have names starting with T. Way too many Ts in the house!

I love Lily and have done since I was about 6, but unfortunately now it's so common that I couldn't use it without feeling like I was copying everyone else.

I love Sebastion, but I can't stand 'Seb' and our surname starts with S so pretty much any S name is out anyway. SS? Not very good for anyone with any war history knowledge *chuckle*.

So what's the names that you can't use?

DP and I wanted to name our girl Lily as well, but since it has become so popular we've decided on Millie instead.

Cohen, Mannix, Jordan and Jett - All vetowed bbby DP
Anakin - Kind of self explanatory, wish I had the guts to use it.
Ryder - Doesn't suit our last name
Aston - Too close to EXP(Ashton)

Can't use Maddison or Mackenzie as close relatives have kids named this.

Sophie. I think it's delightful but we named our bird it. The bird I accidentally killed (she sneakily came and stood right under my feet, and I put my feet down to move the chair so I could see where she went... and... yeah. ). I would rather not use it and remind my partner and daughter of the moment I killed our beautiful parrot.

I also love James, but my cousin named her kid that (and I already got told off by my grandmother for using that same cousin's daughter's middle name as my daughter's middle name... even though I never see my cousin so never knew...). It was also the name I chose to name a boy with my ex (if DD had been a boy). I will not be using that name with DP. It just seems weird and wrong.

Genevieve the way the French pronounce it. Like this: http://www.forvo.com/word/genevi%C3%A8ve/ (the second option pronounced by "eloi"). Australians would never say it, and would say Jenn-ah-veev. Nope. Sorry.

Charles. I hate that name but LOVE the name Charlie - for a boy. But dh grandfathers name was Charles/Charlie and we just don't want family names esp since they would have the same last name.

My bil's family seem obsessed with the name Tom ( not really Tom, just using as an example). The grandfather was Tom but died a little while ago, his younger son is called Tom, who had twin boys - named one Tom and the other jim(think his middle name is Tom). My bil's (the eldest son of the original Tom) middle name is Tom and his son!s middle name is Tom.

Way overkill of the 1 name in one family I think

I like Jessica but its DH's ex name :-/

I like some long girl names, like Genevieve (coincidentally, Sassy Mummy!) but our surname is 11 letters long so the poor girl would take forever to write her name out.

I like Poppy for a girl, but it was my pet (boy) cockatiel's name.

I like Bella but it's super popular nowadays. Same with Charlotte & Amelia.

Anything "bogan". ( kidding cause of closed thread ) would never rose as its my grandmas name and it has been used to death in our family. I have at least 8 cousins with that middle name, including my sister.
I love the name Harry , but it's dp's mates name. I have. 56 cousins a heap of second and third cousins so lots of names I can't use.

Lol... If you weren't "82" I'd be convinced we're cousins. It was my grandma's name and every one of her 10 kids has a something Rose. As does my DD in keeping with tradition. :P
