I had the surgery when my DS1 was only about ten weeks old. Afterward I had no problems at all. His birth was long, traumatic with lots of intervention. I had bad tearing and a giant episiotomy.

After DS1 I now have a DS2 as well (albeit ten years later...). My OB was a little concerned about my history and my scarring. He offered me a c section but was supportive of a natural birth too. I chose the natural. My DS2's birth was fast and natural. I did tear along my old scar but it was only first degree. Strangely enough, it took longer post DS2's birth until dtd was comfortable again than it did after DS1's.
