Nobody around my place tonight. When i used to work overnights though, when a full moon was about, people were silly as anything with alcohol making it worse.

Yes, i do! I have no facts to base it on other than that my children always seem a bit more crazy and full on come the full moon, and my dogs also seem more on edge.

Most definitely. I work in healthcare and the effects are quite evident. There is more accidents on full moons, so much so that the ED my uncle worked in would put on extra staff.

I work in a hospital and any patients with dementia are always more unsettled on full moon nights.

Considering the moon controls massive bodies of water on earth through it's effect on the tides, it's no wonder with bodies that are around 60% water and brains that are 85% water we are affected.

Yep - DD1 is being absolutely feral tonight....and she started carrying on like this about 3 days ago. I've spent all day trying to work out what she's eaten to bring it on but now I'm wondering ((and hoping)) its just the full moon. I'm not sure I'll have any sanity left if she's like this for the next 12 days till DP gets home.

    Yes!!!!

When I used to work in retail people used to start acting crazy around the full moon. When you started getting awful customers regularly you would know it was a full moon!!
