    Question RE: Advice on interpreting HCG level doubling times

    Hi Ladies,
    Just wondering if any one could help me with the interpretation of my HCG levels. I had my first one taken;

    Monday 23 April (4weeks 5 days) which was 166.
    Thursday 26 April (5weeks 1 day) which was 741

    After those two it appeared I had a doubling time of 33hours. However I had another one done.

    Wednesday 2 May (6 weeks exactly) which was 4918.

    My question is how do I interpret whether my levels have doubled or not. Do I assume that my levels would now double every 2 days in which case 4918 would be 1000 short of it doubling 3 times over the 6 days, or is it common after the first two to slow down to a 3 day doubling time? Also are your levels supposed to increase on a daily basis but you can only see the doubling trend if you get them done every second day? I hope I have worded this in such a way that it is not too confusing.
    Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

    It's not as simple as just "doubling the numbers".. I think earlier in ur pregnancy, your levels "double" quicker, and as ur pregnancy progresses, your "doubling" time decreases. I think. I have baby brain already so might be wrong

    There was a pretty good site I used to use, where real women plugged in real bhcg levels so it gave u a good idea of the "normal" ranges to expect
