My papp-a level was 0.23 so I don't reckon that 0.9 is bad at all and your beta hCg is pretty much spot on.
Your biggest indicator for downs will always be your nuchal fold measurement.

I'm 25, my Nuchal fold measurement was 1.6mm, free hCg was 0.95 and papp-a was 0.23 and I cam back with a risk of 1:255.

Thanks heaps. I guess tomorrow will tell. With that risk will you be having an amniocentesis? What did they say? Sorry if you've already said this in here. What is t he recommendation for amino at what risk level?

I am technically in the high risk category so I was offered an amnio. BUT, the risks for an amnio is about 1 in 100 for complications or miscarriage. Also it wouldn't change the outcome for the pregnancy for us, we would not terminate either way.
The low papp-a results can indicate problems later in the pregnancy such as intra-uterine growth restriction, pre-eclampsia or high blood pressure. So my OB is keeping a close eye on that.

They are also narrow enough to fit down aisles (well, the apple is, not sure about the peach) and both can be converted to 2 seaters (or 1 seat 1 bassinet, or seat & carseat or bunch of other combos.
Interesting - I would be open to one that converts between 3 and 4 wheels - thanks!

I love the huggies baby lit top 100 boys and girls names there are some lovelies in there.
The only reason I want dad's name as middle name is baby with have Mine and Hubby Surname so my family are not really in the picture with it and My dad is so super excited ad this will be first grandchild for my parents and first great grandchild for both my grandparents so it is very exciting for my family. Dad is boasting to everyone he is going to be a grandad he is 45 his mates keep teling him he is too young lol.
My nan who is just over 60 is even more excited than my parents she has shown everyone at her work and more than likely everyone she has come across pictures from my ultrasound. Its the wall paper on her mobile. Nan is practically like my mum so I can see she will be up from sydney living with me as soon as baby comes along.
Yes DH is Italian - I do actually love Orlando & Rose. Rose is getting heaps more popular but if it's after his mum its after his mum and thats her name LOL!!

Not sure when we will start looking at prams and furniture... I know what I want for our nursery and how I want to paint it... but I am still worried if I do things too early I will jinx it! Its my crazy head... I was convinced just before our wedding that something would happen and it wouldn't actually happen cause it felt too good to be true!!

We are going to Singapore for a week in September (F1 Grand Prix for Hubby) we will be 17 weeks by then so maybe after that... I plan to finish work at christmas time so will have plenty of time at the end.

However I've got a question. Does anyone know their PAPP-Avand free beta HCG results.
    mine came in as
    PAPPA= 0.90
    free betaHCG = 0.99

Im stressing big time about NT scan as I am a bit older at 37. I've googled - I know bad- but there's all this stuff out there on low PAPPA levels and downs etc.

So now I'm stressing big time - anyone got their results.?
Try not to stress I agree I think this whole NT scan and results this causes more stress than it's worth - obviously everyone's results are going to be different and just because you're older or younger doesn't seem to make your risk any higher or lower - it just it what it is...not sure if that makes sense I['m just typing as I'm thinking!!

I had never even heard of an NT scan until I first came on to bub hub so I certainly wouldn't have worried about it. I just thought a 12 week scan was the first really important scan and after that m/c rates drop severely which is when you make your announcements - how fun it was to be so naive ; )

I wouldn't buy stuff like cot or pram or anything that you would want abiding by the Australian safety standards because it prolly won't

Definitely start looking it can take months to finally decided what you really want. You don't want to feel rushed at the end. And your not being silly, logical I would say.
