Mesh each state has a number you can call to speak to a nurse re: Med issues concerns. I called it a few times in qld when ds had croup and they were fantastic. I can get the Vic and qld ones if they would help.

Sl. I'm feeling the same atm. I'm 8 wks 2 days and have only seen baby once at 6 weeks. Am hating the wait and am even contemplating hiring a Doppler thing.

Hey dragonfly, that surely is a long wait - why don't you see if you can get another scan this/next week to get that reassurance? We saw bubs at 7wk2d and 9wk0d, have one booked on the 30th June but am actually going to cancel and just hold out the next 16 days until our 12wk scan on the 8th August

Baby is making me sick today Hanging out for my 20 week scan now, feels like it's been absolutely ages since I have seen our little peanut. I find myself worrying again now that not all is going well. I can't wait to start feeling it move so I can monitor how it's going.
Good luck with the wait Grebbeci - how long to go until your 20 week scan?

Scan in an hour.. So scared!!!!
This website confuses me. The pregnancy categories they are listing on here are completely different from any of the categories on the company's information pages or on the Australian web sites. maybe the classification in America is different?

About 3 weeks. We are away in the blue mountains during week 20 and DH starts a new job when we get back so I think I will book it for week 19.

yeah, it is american and they are actually a bit stricter on the classifications than the australian sites. I like it, but you do have to search for the drug as they don't have everything. I used it when i was pregnant with DS and it was just in case I desperately needed something!

Finally bh is online again. Have the free numbers to call and speak to a registered nurse.

    In Qld - 13Health
    In Vic - called nurse on call - 1300 606 024
    And everywhere else - Health Direct - 1800 022 222.

The came in very handy especially as a first time mum. Its hard sometimes to know if we should be worried and go to emergency or if it can wait till you can get a doctors appointment.

The nurses were always very understanding, and most of all gave great advice.

Not too long to go then (even though it probably feels like an eternity). It will be good to have your scan before your trip so you can have a nice relaxing time
