Time is most certainly not flying in my world. I think it's more of a slow crawl.

    Hi Girls,

We are 7w4days, we had our first scan on Tuesday and bub's heart beat was 180bpm and measured 7 weeks, I think I am ready to join a "due date" thread., hope that is ok? I've been so worried I would do something to jinx things but so far so good... it stays that way. We are due 24th Feb.

So far my symptons have been pretty mild, the main things are extreme tiredness, hunger, a sore jaw(yes a weird one), metalic task in my mouth and nausea.... so nothing that I can't cope with.

Anyway better get back to work, I'm so easily distracted these days!

    Hi all,
congr ats on those who have made it to 12 weeks.cso exciting.

All this talk of food- I'm so jealous! I can't eat anything . I've lost 5 kg in 2 weeks.

I was discharged from hospital today - I was so lucky to be in a private facility, everyone was so nice and the OB didn't charge me at all, and they eased my anxiety by scanning the baby - the baby was moving and waving - having a party in there- everyone was so nice to me. Interestingly they said that they get a few people with severe hyper Emesis like I've had, and they get a few wingers! That say they feel sick( like most pregnant women!) but aren't severe enough to be in hospital and have no signs of dehydration. Those patients become known to the hospital as " crying wolf" and the nurses say they aren't as nice to them!! I can't believe people really want to go to hospital? When it's unnecessary...seems odd to me. How strange.

Anyway we have reached 10 weeks. Yippee it's been the longest 6 weeks of my life and seems to be moving so slowly to reach 12 weeks. Sometimes I wonder how I'm going to make it through another 2-3 weeks of endless vomiting and nausea...seems insurmountable....gets you down all this MS.

Anyways congrats once again to all those at milestones! Well done, and congrats to those who can eat!!vgo girls enjoy.
