That'd great Lilly so very happy for you. Yes sl am hanging for scan on Monday.

Question. Start the day fitting into pants comfortably then about this time of the day blowout. Feel like I'm gonna bust my zipper. Since I work in a all male office it wouldn't be a great site to undo my pants, but have thought about it ha ha ha does anyone else have this happen? Even without over eating.

OK, so wasn't worried until I just got a phone call from my obstetrician telling me to go in and see her tomorrow.

Deep breaths it may just be telling you the same thing you've been told already.

I've found that they like to make it out worse than it really is.

    Hey there,
sweety I'd be going on what your OB reccomends. If they said amino then I'd do it. The risks is apparently a lot less. I believe those quoted numbers are from old figures, ESP if yo u choose very carefully who does it. You'd wana go to someone who does an amino a day not some guy who only does one a month. In addition my friend is 40 and she's had a amino for all of her pregnancies ( she's got 4 kids), with no problems. If it was me and I was 25 I'd definitely be getting an amino but that's my personal opinion and ultimately only you and your DH can decide what to do. I know you'll choose the right decision for your family and yourself.

Im thinking if you lots and were all here if you need to go through things on your mind. Xx

Do u think if my partner and I will still raise a child with down syndrome that I shouldn't worry about getting the nt scan?

DH and I weren't going to have one, because we don't plan on terminating a pregnancy if it was down's, we would be more than happy to raise a downs syndrome child, but we had one because we are on our clinics early pregnancy monitoring program and they wanted us to have one. That's why I don't think we will worry about an amnio.
However, apparently the PAPP-A can cause other issues later in pregnancy such as low birth weight, hypertension or pre-eclampsia, which I am pretty sure is what our OB wants to discuss tomorrow.

YES!!!!! And I work in a pretty male dominated environment. I have sat at my desk with my pants unzipped a couple of times this week lol! I am just so bloated and when I wear my normal clothes I look pregnant and scared someone will ask!! I'm off to buy some maternity leggings this afternoon and I shall be in leggings and shift dresses until I hit the 2nd tri and then show of baby bump : ) I know I am only 7 weeks but seriously this bloating looks like it will be staying around until bubs appears anyway and I'm struggling with my clothes!! Also going to get fitted for a new bra this afternoon too - for sure they've gone up a cup size!!
