So potentially we could have 4 kids.

We agree that a healthy bub is the most important thing it would just take a bit of the stress away for our frozen cycles to come if this time was a girl.

Know it probably just a wives talk but I want some Ms (apologies in advance to those suffering at the moment) I know I will most likely regret wanting it.

Baby falling out that's funny. I also really love the name coco for referring to your Bubba its personal and original. We just call ours Bubba. Last time I would call it baby b cause no matter what sex it was it's name was going to start with a b( crazy me even came up with a little song about it) pregnancy hormones make you crazy he he he

Oh dragonfly. You want MS!!! That made me lol...... It s really very dreadful....they say it's a good sign and I'm grateful as it does give me some reassurances that coca is ok. But it's really debilitating. This morning I have been vomiting since 5 am, retching bile, my abdominal muscles are so sore after 5 weeks of vomiting so far. My OB has had to start me on ondansetron as I was so debilitated and unwell. This am I was driving to work and had to pull over on the M 5 motorway in Sydney where I promptly vomited on the emergency stopping lane....it's so debilitating to have constant nausea and vomiting for weeks in end and I've got another 5 weeks of it . My first pregnancy it didn't go away till 14 weeks. I'm 9 weeks today oh it seems an eternity, this waiting till your out of danger and and. For the nausea to settle.
How many weeks are you now? My MS didn't kick in till 6 weeks.... As that's when the progesterone gets high enough to cause the nausea...

Bronwyn - So sorry to hear about your loss take it easy on yourself.

Meshell - I originally thought that DH had NO chance of getting any during first trimester, but the mood has gotten the better of me twice (much to his delight) and Peanut is still doing fine. TMI Alert! but in the first 8 weeks or so I actually kept having dreams where I would, you know..... and whilst I woke up with quite disconcerting cramps I figured it mustn't be doing too much harm.

    SL: Enjoy your scan

AFM: Had what was meant to be NT scan last week but the bub woudn't turn around so that they could see the Nuchal fold so have another one today to try and get a better view. It was awesome last week though, they flipped it over to 3D and there is totally a little human in there, and it was jumping around like a frog in a sock. Needless to say I wasn't too disappointed when they said they wanted to do another one.
Off all meds and supports now, YAY! no more progesterone pessaries or clexane injections. Mind you had some major headaches coming off the clexane.

So just had proper NT scan and got results back. Unfortunately not as good as I was hoping. We have been given a risk factor of 1:255, anything under 1:300 puts you in the 'high risk' category.
Nuchal fold was fine at 1.6mm, free hCG was fine and I am only 25 so that was fine but apparently Papp-A was low, pushing our risk factor up.
Don't think we will go for the amnio as the risk of MC with an amnio is 1 in 100 and that risk is far higher than the risk of Downs. DH wasn't with me at the scan, not sure how/whether to tell him yet.
