Hi SL1009, Look luck for your scan. l think your bt results are quite high. l think you might be having twins. lf there is twins, it is the best. l loved every minute. Please let me know how you go and if there is one or two bubs. Such a exciting time.

Hi Motherwillbe, Congrats on making it to 12 weeks. So exciting. l watch one born every minute to. l just love it. Can be scary. l remember being put in hosiptal at 36 weeks pregnant with my twins. At night l would hear screams of woman in labour. l was so scared. Seems funny now. l have no idea about the pain. l had a c-section. The girls in my Mothers Group, just say take the drugs if you need them. l am 13 weeks today.

Hope everyone is going great. Kel x
Hey Kel thanks for the message, 13 weeks today how great - 2nd trimester here you come! I am 7 weeks today. Had some issues with spotting and cramping but nothing too dire so praying that all is well. I would absolutely LOVE to have twins but of course we would be over the moon with one healthy bubba. I find out in just 2 days : ) xx

I'm so excited for you sl1009. Seeing your bubba for the first time is awesome and a bit surreal to finally see that there is another life growing inside.

I think the reason for needing Ivf as well as how long you have been doing it plays a big part in the division in telling people.

My dh had a vasectomy so we pretty much told everyone what we were doing. I think it depends on your friend and family but we found the support from everyone a great help not only in sharing our good news but also helping me get through the unsuccessful cycles too.

Meshell23 hope your new gp is a lot more understanding and allows for another scan. I'm sure some health care professionals are oblivious to the extreme stress of ivf. Think they should allow multiple scans especially in the first few months just to put our minds at rest. Worrying doesn't do anyone any good.

How do we get on the Facebook site again?

    Hi Ladies

Meshell - Glad your getting the GP sorted. Hopefully your scan will be soon.

Smyles - Everyone knew we were doing IVF last time. I made the mistake of saying I had PCOS and that we would most likely be doing clomid. Well I got the "What's happening" questions every time we saw family. So when we started doing IVF the whole ruddy family knew. Very much an invasion of privacy and I don't like to be the "family gossip". They even told family I don't even know for petes sake. No ones business.

This time we haven't told anyone. No one not even my mum. I'm not ashamed of being IVF just not while we are going through the whole cycle. It's too much pressure while cycling. So if they ask I will say yes another IVF bub but I won't be volunteering it to anyone.

    SL - 1 moere sleep .

We didn't see our doing IVF as a his/her problem it was OUR problem. We were doing it together so whom ever was the fertility challenged one was really of irrelevance.

Gillint - PM me your FB email so I can add you as a friend and then add you to the group. It's pretty quiet in there so far. I don't mind if you "unfriend" me after your added to the group. I won't be offended.

Kel - Good Luck for your results today.

lol ahh well 2 more sleeps! lol All going well except i side swiped a staff members car today. Totally peed off at myself cause I'm a really good driver and 1 lapse in concetration and now I have a great srape mark on the side of DH's Black car . Stands out like the perverbial dogs you know what. The other car I hit was a 4WD and just clipped the rear passenger bumper. Nothing a bit of buff and polish wouldn't fix. But insurance will deal with it.

Motherwillbe - Woo hoo on your 12 week scan. I can't wait for mine. Did you get any pics? I agree with Gillint. Now relax and enjoy pregnancy .
