HI Girls, SO bad that l have not been on line for ages.l have had the most terrible morning sickness. Or l should say all day sickness. l am only having one bub this time around. When l was pregnant with my twins l was not sick at all.
Have had a very stressfull week. lt has taken me four weeks to get into my Doctor. Appointment went well. Then as l was leaving my Dr asked if l was going to do the Down syndrome tests. l said l did'nt think so. He said, well be prepared to take a Down Syndrome baby home then. l was so upset. l told him l would think about it. He said as l was already 11 weeks l had to decided quick. So we went to Melbourne today. l was 12 weeks yesterday. The man that did the scan was wonderful. He said they look at the babies noise and the back of the head. All looked great. For my age l will be low risk. 10 days to get the results with the blood work. Felling alot better.
My Dr said l will be having another christmas baby. My birthday is the 24th of Dec. Which l share with my twin. My twins were born on the 23rd of Dec. Christmas is a crazy time for us.
    Hoping everyone is doing well.

    Kel

I love that our 3rd trimester will be in the summer too - will be rocking the maxi dresses 24/7 I think!!

Sorry to hear you've had such bad morning sickness Kel. I can't believe your doctor approached the down syndrome test with you like that "be prepared to take home a down syndrome baby then" God I would have been so upset too. I think this is the NT test / scan yes? Great to hear that you are at low risk though and even more great that you've made it to the all important 12 weeks - congratulations! So your doc thinks you will have this bub early then if your due date is the 7th Jan? What a very crazy but very wonderful time for your family over Christmas

    Hi Ladies

Meshell - You can start with things like ginger. Either ginger biscuits or in a tablet form. Some get pressure bands but they never worked for me. Fruit tingles. I've tried Homeopathic "Clear Morning Sickness". They come in tablet form and it dissolves instantly on your tongue or a drop form. I've used the tablets.

You can try eating small frequent meals throughout the day or try dry biscuits before you get out of bed. Other wise you can go to the GP and get maxalon and see if that helps. I always tried the natural stuff first before using maxalon.

It's hard to keep focused when all you want to do is throw up. Hopefully it won't last too long for you.

Kel - Woo Hoo on reaching 12 weeks. I'm 12 weeks tomorrow. I can't believe it's gone so fast.

RE maternit wear. I've spent over $1000 so far hahaha. Poor DH. I said I wasn't looking frumpy this time. So I'm buying all new stuff and putting all my old stuff on ebay. I got a gorgeous summer dress from QueenBee.com.au it was $119 down to $79.95.

There are alos a few other sites to look at. Everyone has a sale on ATM. I'll list some of the ones I've bought from so far.

    queenbee.com.au
    soul Mother.com.au
mum-and-bump.com.au (I spent $449 on a leather nappy bag alone hahah)
    ematernity.com.au

I love how many ladies are here with their BFPs

I'm not really feeling anything at the moment except for maybe a little bit hungrier, definitely feel a bit 'blah' and very tired. I am really looking forward to getting my third BT results tomorrow so we can see how high my numbers have jumped - it will give me some peace for another week until our scan!

Anyone else bored at work?! Lol!
