Hi All!! Wonderful to see so many from the recent cycles here with BFP's!!

Broomdyke - I had my scan last Wednesday, just AMAZING! One little bean measuring 2 days smaller than my date (but ok) with a fluttering little heartbeat! Was so pleased, breathed a sigh of relief (apparently chances of misscarriage drop by 95% once you see a live heartbeat!) I know stats aren't everything, but it helps to put my mind at ease a bit - hope I am not this cagey for the next 8 months! Off the progynova and crinone now (thank goodness) and starting to feel a bit sick ( and more tired, but other than that great! So... Do you have just 1 or 2 in there??

SL1009 - SO PLEASED FOR YOUR BFP!! and great to be able to share the next 8 months with you and some of the other lovely ladies too! x

On another note, it is sometimes really hard to be joyous for yourself and other people when so many others are suffering... I know they are happy for us, but I know it also stings a bit too. My cousin is on her 3rd stim cycle round and due to test this weekend. We got our BFP first time, I am so hoping for her that she does too.

I had a flu shot yesterday and have my next scan on 16 July (I am going through the private system) I'll be 10.5 weeks then. Looking forward to hearing about how everyone else is going! xo

PS: yes I changed my Avatar!!

Just wondering if anyone is having morning sickness?

    - Nebiskus
    Phi there,
yip I've got really bad morning sickness. Who gave it the term morning sickness - rather all day and night sickness! I usually vomit 4-5 times in the morning and again in the evening. I found the best thing is to eat arrowroot biscuits. It seems the sickness may be related to hunger. And eating snacks does seem to ease it. If I miss a snack then the nausea gets overwhelming and then it's hard to get on top of.
i saw obstetrician yesterday and he prescribed ondansetron sublingual. I take it when I am at work but do try to limit it where I can. But I figure it can't be good for the mbaby if I can't keep anything down, so an occasional tablet of ondansetron would be the lesser of two evils.

    You are you sick too?

Hi Gampa, is that Zofran you are talking about? I have always been super paranoid about taking anything when pregnant - and I know the GP's hate it, but I always ask, twice about medication/contraindications during pregnancy. So probably a really good tactic to only take it when you feel like you really need it! Labour on the other hand - pass me the drugs! I have been fairly lucky so far though, had a UTI then a vomitting bug last week, now back to normal apart from feeling nauseous, and the only thing that stops it is green tea, Powerade, and small bites of things (whtever I feel like) to keep me from getting too hungry! Hope you feel better soon x

I haven't really had any ms at all, haven't thrown up yet but I do feel funny in the tummy like I want to be sick or need to rest.
Khutch- haven't had my scan yet. Thursday is the day we get to look in there and see what's happening in there!

    Morning ladies!

5weeks and 5 days today which means in 2 days I will be half way towards the all important 12 weeks! Feeling pretty average but I think it's from the medication. No MS yet just that sick hungry feeling at times. Hope you all have a great day.

    Xx
