$35 a month is that all? That's not as bad as I was imagining then!
hmmm, weird. I don't even see my day surgery fees unless I get a statement from my health fund. Costs them about $1500 each time though. Makes private health insurance worthwhile though.

Which health fund are you with?

NIB. We don't have top coverage but have gotten a fair bit back all up so can't really complain. It's been better overall having it. I remember when I saw how much the hys and lap cost them, I was very happy to have only paid my excess!

SL - someone told me that if you are working full time then you are probably better off with the PPL option, I can't recall the reasoning why though sorry!

Thanks Crafty - I think you're right I ended up putting a million different scenarios into the calculator thingy and it always came up with PPL being beneficial so I think that's made my decision..

In other news my SIL is picking up my snoogle pillow for me today - so excited lol!!

I'm trying to decide between the snoogle and the belly bean!

I think I like how the belly bean can double as a breast feeding pillow too.

Same with the snoogle - you can twist and turn it into lots of different positions...so will be good before and after bubs comes - looks very cosy

Back earlier in the thread their was some people discussing dopplers for bubs and there were some horror stories accompanying it. I would advise against it. It doesn't necessarily get any less stressful as the pregnancy goes on, and you don't worry any less, but you certainly learn to manage the worry better.

Just felt bub move, like properly move for the first time. Have been able to feel like tiny bubbles when I lay down and focus sometimes but nothing like this. It felt really odd, like having a grumbly tummy but not where my tummy is. I must have looked like a d!ck 'cause I just stopped what I was doing and grinned like a fool. lol.

Grebbeci Oh my god that is amazing... very special moment for you! How many weeks are you now?

    Mrs Simmo
hang in there, the cramping and pain in your tummy is normal, the ligaments are moving and stretching... I had it and as long as there is no blood it is fine, they say if the pain is causing you to double over in pain then speak to your OB or midwife. Have you got an OB yet? We saw ours at 8 weeks and 10 weeks and had scans in his office both times. But bottom line is it all sounds pretty normal to me! So relax and enjoy being pregnant!
