AmyEL- I will be finishing on the 14th of December which will be about 36 weeks. Wish I could finish earlier but would like to keep the money coming in as long as possible.

I've made up my mind (LOL)

I'm NOT going to have a baby shower unless someone wants to throw me one...which I don't expect anyone to offer to do

I think it would be awkward given that none of my friends had one

Will just enjoy catch ups with friends for nice afternoon tea or lunch before the big due date - and lots of dates with my DH : )

I would throw you one if I lived in Melbourne. lol.

You have been through so much to have this baby, I would have a nice baby themed afternoon tea or dinner or something at least.

Sorry should have been more clear - our 'official' announcement LOL! My parents know even though I don't talk to them often as they are overseas...so wouldn't know but they certainly know everything

My DH's parents know we have done IVF a few times but haven't asked this time round if it's been successful. My DH hasn't wanted to tell them anything just in case something happened. My MIL said that I have put on weight and I look pale - surely she has put 2 and 2 together.

Both SILs also know - to an extent - what is going on - hard to keep it from the people that know what you are going through - so yes this will be our 'official' announcement - Brother & SIL, BIL, nieces, nephews, grandparents, my close cousins have no idea...

You're sweet - I think an afternoon tea is definitely a go - whether it be before or a few weeks after the bubs is born

I had a horrible dream last night that I miscarried! I woke up very scared! Now I really wish my scan was sooner so I could know that everything is ok. Im sure it was just a dream, but I don't hope to dream it again anytime soon!!!
The Chinese say you dream the opposite to reality
