So bored.... DH is watching something and I am not interested. Did you see that Baby Bunting has a sale on at the moment. We are thinking we will wait till the Christmas/New Years sales, but doesn't help to look does it?

Do you guys feel that you have a connection to your bubs? I am feeling pretty bad cause I don't really feel connected at the moment. I kind of look at my little bump in wonder (or disbelief?) and feel that I should have some great connection but I'm not feeling it. Do you think that changes when you feel movement or start to show more?
Hey Nala, Ditto to not really feeling connected. I usually feel more connected when we go for a scan and I see baby move around or wave it's arms etc...but beyond that sometimes it's still really hard to believe that theres something growing inside! mind you.....I've had a couple of sleepless nights in a row now because of massive back pain (at 15 weeks argh)...so i might have called it demon spawn a couple of times last night.

Off to go to my GP to beg for SOMETHING to let me sleep/relieve the pain.

I really like the name Aria. I think it's really pretty. Do you mind me asking the origins of you choosing the middle name of Sui Mai? I'm from a chinese/singapore background and my first thought was that was the name of what we call dim sims in Singapore lol.

Im European/ new zealander but my husband is Malaysian Chinese. Out first DD middle name is Sui Ming. So we were keeping Sui part and adding a middle one. But are the dim sims spelt like that - Mai ?? I'll have to think of something else if they are!!! Can't have my bubs names after a prawn dim sim!!

Gamps that last bit made me laugh! Hehe. I think we would spell it siu Mai for a dimsim ... It's just "siu" and the way you'd pronounce Sui (sue) is quite similar so could be mistaken for a prawn dimsim check with your hubby I could be completely wrong

    Hi all
Question: my OB told me that with an IVF pregnancy the placenta is only good till 40 weeks so if I havent gone into labour by 40 weeks she will induce me.
I dont really have a problem with being induced cos I know the risk of stillbirth increases the later you go, but has anyone else heard this from their OBs?
Oh and I like Aria - but have a niece Arianne so couldnt really use it.
