I've taken Blackmores all the way through. Bubs is healthy, I'm healthy. I've always been a fan of Blackmores products.

I used blackmores with both my kids. I think the only real difference is the iron with elevit (which causes constipation) and the higher price tag. Companies have worked out expectant mothers will pay anything for a multi vitamin if they market it right.

I started out on Elevit, then when that ran out, switched to Blackmores but hated the massive 2 pills a day so when that finished went back to Elevit and am still taking them. My Dr recommended Blackmores only because Elevit used to not contain iodine but now that it does, she said it was up to me....

I couldn't stomach Elevit (which my dr recommended) - it made my morning sickness sooo much worse.

I'm very happy with blackmores. I take both at breakfast. Even if I wasn't breastfeeding I would still take it. I feel great on it. I get mine from goodprice pharamacy when its on special for $34-36, for the 180 pack.

Blackmores always gives me the runs. Which I totally forgot about until I bought a 180 tablet bottle a week ago. Had to go and by elevit as it was making me too sick.
