    They go slimey pretty quickly. I'd say 2 days at the absolute most.

    When I was ateenager I worked in a deli. We would rub the slime off with paper before putting them out. Many times. I never threw away any I don't recken.

    They are highly processed as someone said. Ask the deli person to check the expiary date on the box. And perhaps manufacture date too!

    Freeze them
    They freeze really well and you can cook them from frozen.
