Very rarely. We've probably only done it a couple of times - and that's when
he rubs food in it. He doesn't really do that a lot though (prefers to rub it up his arms ).

Almost every night. DS is a chronic food-in-hair rubber :P

We just say the same thing to him as we do at swimming when we pour water over his head, so he holds his breath and closes his eyes.

Never had an issue thank god

We have never shampooed our 17mo's hair. We just wash it down with a face washer and warm water in the bath. It's still fairly short and certainly feels and looks lovely, soft and clean

I shampoo DS's hair most nights for the same reason as others - he rubs his food in it alllllll the time!

I lay him on his back in the bath like an infant and squeeze water on to his hair from a face washer to rinse out the shampoo.

We've pretty much done it every night since he was born, just cleaning hair with the same pigeon hair + body wash we use for the rest of his body. Just pushed through any complaining he did really haha.

We used it as an opportunity to get him used to water over his face so we did the whole "Name... Ready.... Gooo!" that they also do in the pool.
