    Default Gold Coast Primary Schools

Does anyone know anything about Helensvale Primary? The good & bad! We are zoned for that, we tried getting a prep spot in Assisi, Jubilee, Coomera Anglican but all the waiting lists are closed (we have just moved here). AB Patterson is out of our bank balance
The only other option would be Gaven Primary which is not zoned.

I dont want to move DD around to much so if she settles in & gets on ok then she will stay until high school. Will put her down for Assisi, CAC for high school.

    Thanks for any feedback

Coomera Springs is amazing and much like a private school, but public, very new, state of the art, the students are almost all from fantastic homes.

It's zoned, but I know many out of zone parents with kids in there.

A lot of the students feed into the nearby private high schools.

Highland Reserve State School also has a good rep. So does Coomera State School next to Dreamworld.

BlissedOut - didn't realise we must be practically neighbors. Living the life of 'luxury' so close by, lol

Have you tried St Stephens? They are meant to be quite good also.

I lived in Coomera Springs for 4 years, we did emergency foster care before we had kids and Child Safety Officers drooled over sending the kids to Coomera Springs. Lol.

We moved away to be closer to our kids future school in Clagiraba. Also to a cheaper home so I can keep being a SAHM.

Thanks Ladies, maybe we should look at buying a little more north to get into those area's.

We have been focused on looking for a house in Helensvale but will look at different area's.

I wouldn't buy in Upper Coomera. It's set to be a rental slum and has a major crime rate.
