    Default August appointment ???

After having a hormone blood test my gp has given me a referral to see a specialist. They rang today and the earliest appointment is not untill early August
Just wondering if this is standard wait time?
I was kind of hoping to be pregnant by then so our little family could go on a cruise for mums 60th.
The receptionist said to bring tests I have had and hubby. Thing is I have only had two blood tests and one ultrasound. What test should hubby and I be getting between now and August?

Sounds fairly normal to me, if slightly on long side. Our wait was two months. Is there another doc with shorter wait time? I shopped around and then found a good one with only one month wait. Might be worth looking into.

Tests you have had sound standard at this stage. If they want anything else done like sperm analysis you'd have to wait to see the fs anyway.

I agree the wait is painful! I had to adjust my expectations for when i might end up pregnant.

Thanks. I can totally relate to changing the baby expectations of when he or she is born. I'm also thinking now not a huge gap between babies now. Seeing as its taking longer than I expected to even fall with the first.
We will have to get hubby's swimmers tested just to cover our bases.
