Positive result on expired test?

I came off the pill at the end of March. My period has not returned. This morning I thought I should do a test to check. I've had period like cramping, and have read that periods can take up to 3 months to return after coming off the pill, but just needed to know. The test came up with 2 lines straight away, but the test expired in July last year.

Anyone know if it would be right? I can't do another test until later as I'm at work.

I'd be inclined to believe the test personally, if it wasn't going to work it'd give you either a negative or empty windows!

OMG, if you're pregnant. How exciting.

I would think they put the used by date conservatively early so would tend to believe it, but would test again.

Like the others have said, I'd be inclined to believe it.

I didn't buy a test yet, but I'm thinking it's right

I had to go straight from work to my daughter's swimming lesson, then straight home to make dinner.

I'd say it's positive- surely if it was dodgy the control line wouldn't show or there would be an obvious fault? I'd still get another fresh test but I reckon you are UTD
