I also had a c-section. I breastfed until 17 months, started solids at 5.5 months, was down to about 2 feeds a day (morning and night) by about 12 months.

It took 10 months for my period to return - it caught me by surprise while I was on an overseas holiday! We were in a car on a long drive in the middle of nowhere and I had no supplies! I thought my back was sore the day before but put it down to lifting my son...

I breastfed DS1 until he was 19 months old, and it never returned, and by that time I was 7 months pregnant. I haven't had a period since 2009.

7.5 months after delivery for both bubbas. Still BFing 6 - 8 times a day for both of them and both were only having minimal solids at the time. Ripped off!
