Probably easier while they aren't crawling. Easier to watch !

We have taken all of our kids camping when they were babys. We took a portacot and jolly jumper with its own frame to keep bubs occupied , dont forget some mozzie nets for afternoon and nightime.

We took our little one camping when he was 4months and his cousin was 7. It was great we took a big tarp and strung it between trees for our shade, put a blanket under it and they had a ball! Slept great I think because of all the fresh air and we were doing more! It was a really nice holiday. It was in January in Perth but wasn't actually too hot. I think if it was too hot it wouldn't have been as nice as the tent would get quite uncomfortable but we had a beautiful breeze in the evenings which really cooled the tent down and he slept in his pram outside during the day...Hope you have a great holiday

    i say have fun!!!

babies are happy anywhere their families are, camping is probably better as you are all in the same place, relaxed and happy.
