I prefer for everybody to keep their shirts on personally. It's how I was raised and I find I'm more comfortable that way. Guys, girls - don't care! If that makes me a little conservative, then so be it!

I think it should be mandatory for everyone to walk around topless! Imagine how much more fun shopping would be!! Especially in the frozen food aisle!

Would you sit naked with your dad/uncles and have a cuppa? I'd find that so awkward!

Personal taste thing for me... Hair is just hair, but I still don't like to see it in a mullet...

Bodies are just bodies, but I prefer seeing them a bit more covered up (for men and women).

Feet are just feet, but I prefer seeing them with shoes on in public.

I agree with FL - dressing up a little more in public does seem like a way to differentiate between public and private behaviour.

Fine if you're on the beach, but if you're in a shopping centre/ supermarket/ jogging down the road, then I prefer tops on all round. And definitely no squeezing past me and sweating on me, while shirtless. Ewwwwww.....

I'm not uncomfortable with nudity in the right context - i just don't think being nude in public is appropriate. I am a fan of clothes in public

So those of you who are uncomfortable with men AND women having no shirt on in public, do you agree it's discriminatory? That it's unlawful for one group to be shirtless but lawful for another group to be shirtless?

I guess it comes down to personal feelings. Personally, I don't find my breasts sexual - they are for feeding children. But I find my DP's chest very sexual, I love laying my head on it and I feel very protected when I'm cuddling up to it. But I don't think this means that women should be allowed to be shirtless in public and men not. It's all or none IMO.

Of course! Our complex has a rule that no one can walk around outside of their home shirtless, it's great!
