    Default No signs of teeth?

My dd2 is 9 1/2 months now. She still has not had a single tooth come through yet. When she has grumpy days I think oh maybe this is it a tooth may be coming in. But I check her mouth and feel around there are no signs of teeth. I am not used to this. My dd1 started teething at 3months and had almost all her teeth by 13months.

Ive read the average age is between 6-8months for children to start having teeth come through. So I am not sure what to do. Do I just wait for a little longer to see if anything comes through or should I see a dentist about it?

    Advice please!

My friend's baby didn't get a single tooth until he was 18 months old. I wouldn't be concerned at 9ish months

Thanks Ladies! I'll just wait it out. I guess the upside of her teeth coming through later she'll be able to communicate a little better that her mouth hurts.

Best advice anyone can give you, ignore all "average babies should" comments/information. My pair didn't get any until 9 months but I know of others who didn't until after 12 months.

I so agree, your baby isn't average, it's exceptional.

Yep, don't worry about it. All 3 of my girls got their teeth later. DD1 was 13-14mths, DD2 was 12mths and DD3 was 11mths.

Poor DD1 had no teeth and no hair on her first birthday party. LOL
