I had mine removed on the 10th of December last year, and had a bleed then...
I'm now 19 weeks pregnant. Obviously I didn't get another period

I had mine removed at the end of Jan 2011 and was pregnant 3 weeks later (without having a period). Good luck!

My gyno advised to have a full cycle before trying, the mirena works (in part) as it releases a hormone which prevents or greatly reduces your menses. I didn't have periods with it in so she suggested a full cycle, to ensure I had 'a nice thick lining for the egg to nestled in'

I have health issues, my BFP pattern after mirena was identical both times

    Month 1 - cycle to build lining, month 2 - BFP, mc 5wks, Month 3 - BFN, month 4 - BFP
