Default Do you think there should be an early election?

So our Government currently looks like a circus and it's all getting a little embarrassing now.
Do you want an early election? Do you think there will be one?
Obviously Julia is gone no matter when the election will be.
Whats your stand on politics today?

I'm petrified about the thought of an Abbott government.

I think we should scrap EVERY minister and shadow minster from both parties and start 100% from scratch.

Or elect my goddaughter - she's probably a better option.

For those saying no can I ask why?
Labor won't win with Julia no matter what happens. The only chance they have is to get a new leader. And even then it's going to be a battle.
Im pretty sure Tony is our next PM.
I think another 18 months with Julia is just going to make labor look worse and worse.

It's a joke. We need an election. I don't think Julia will call it though. But it's gone way past the point of ridiculous with recent events. She can try to lay the blame for Slipper on the Libs, but who employs someone without checking them out first??? And as for the Thompson stuff, I think that should have happened a few years ago. Both are serious issues and should be treated as such.

But I'd prefer Turnbull as the leader (and new PM) of the libs as Abbott scares me too. Though he must have gotten some new advisors/speech writers as he has been sounding better the last couple of months.

This is a duly elected govt, whether they do what we want or not, this is a government elected by the people of this country. The only time I would support that would be if a govt did something like attempt to re-introduce the death penalty, stop allowing same-sex couple to access IVF, or things like that. I otherwise do not support it, whether I like them, voted for them, agree with what they are doing, or not.

No, I can think of a lot more things to spend that kind of money on.

I think my 4yo thinks we should have one. Every time Julia is on tv, my 4yo dd says "Ugh, Julia Gillard, I don't like her, she's sooooo boring". I have no idea where she got that from, it is not something that me or dh would have said. LOL.
