So hard going back to work, at least getting past the anxiety of it is the hardest part. I had just over a week off.
Have you thought about asking someone just to just say quietly, just welcome her back but don't pry, she just wants to get back to work??
My boss is very compassionate (even though a man!!) and he read an email I typed up to my close staff, our junior school (I'm a teacher) so about 12 of us. And then he added that I just wanted to come back and be at work. I requested no one bring it up and he supported that. Everyone I work with was respectful of that. I knew they cared by just allowing me time. That made it an easy transition.
Good luck. You won't need it though. And remember, it's not weak or anything to admit you came back too early and need to head home (I did one day a week back. Boss sent me home!!). I'll be thinking of you tomorrow. xo hope it goes well.
