I accidently txt'd a wrong number one day when I was 15 and ended up txting and chatting with the guy for years before we met(2 years later), and we are still great friends 5 years later. And the weirdest part is I joined a due in group on here and it moved to facebook and one of the mum's actually lived down the road from the guy I accidently txt 5 years ago!

i have the same old lady ring every week on a tuesday morning and leave a message on my answering machine.
she says ' hi helen its gina calling just checking you're doing ok this week'

she calls from a private number so i can't call and tell her its the wrong number. plus we're never home on a tues morning so can't take the call.

oh and our answer message says ' hi you've reached xyz and xyz so she obviously ignores that

My mums home phone number is one digit different to the local Chinese restaurant so she always gets people ringing up trying to order Chinese

Our no. used to be a coffee shop in Melbourne which apparently has only just shut down so not sure how that works (supposed to be a 2yr suspension when numbers are disconnected) and we have people ringing wanting to book. One lady actually asked me if I knew where they had moved to and if I had their new number.

Our no is also the same as a sydney fish shop so if people don't ring the 02 they get us, wasn't thrilled at 5.30am when someone rang the fish shop wrong and woke me up!

I got a text a few weeks ago saying 'sup mah ***** nah just kiddin lub ya shinae' I texted back sorry wrong number. Then an hour later I had a missed call from a Perth number (I'm in Sydney) then a text saying 'are you sure u ain't joe coz he has this number on his Facebook profile' so I asked for Joes full name so I could find him on FB and tell him to delete my number from his profile but his privacy settings are too high and he won't accept my friend request lol. In the last week 2 other people have texted me thinking I'm joe. Annoying!

Funniest one was when I was maybe 16 and some teenage guy called looking for someone. Then like 5 mins later called back told me I sounded cute and we chatted for about 15 mins or so. But we lived too far away to make anything of it. Lol.

Worst wrong number though was my first and last graphic sexting MSG and I accidentally sent it to the old boyfriend instead of the new boyfriend. End. Of. The. World. I was 17/18 then.
