Default Mum sued Ferrero because Nutella is NOT HEALTHY!

    http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/...8FT1DU20120429

I get the argument about the advertisement in parts, but in the end, advertisement is what it is. Also, where is the common sense? Are parents not expected to think?
"Ms. Hohenberg was surprised and upset to learn that Nutella was in fact not
a 'healthy, nutritious' food but instead a product with the nutritional
properties of a candy bar," the lawsuit said.

She might have not been smart enough to figure that a chocolate spread is not healthy but she was smart enough to launch a lawsuit and get a bit of pocket money from it

The ad is false and misleading. I have thought for ages now that someone will take them for false advertising. Nutella for breakfast everyday as part of a balanced diet? No thanks. That is not part of a healthy and balanced diet.

I made some healthy one at home. Chuck some hazelnuts, a few cashews, Dutch cocoa powder and some honey in a blender or food processor and it's scrummy and healthy

the money will be spread around to anyone who bought Nutella between August 2009 and January 2012. The company has also said that it would change Nutella’s label and stop running “misleading” ads.

I read it as she was shocked that it was being advertised as healthy, not that she was shocked it's unhealthy.

Agree with CJ. I hope this sets a precedent for others who advertise bad food as being nutritional.

I bet this woman is the same type of lazy mother that blames other people for her kid being overweight
