Default Tell me about your high risk pg experience at RHW.

Hi all My GP has asked me if I want to go public or private for my hopefully soon to be next pregnancy so he can write the appropriate referrals and we can hit the ground running. I'm very interested in hearing your RHW experiences. I felt my last pregnancy was poorly managed and despite having many complications (including previous m/c and chems, threatened m/c, severe morning sickness for 26 weeks, severe GORD resulting in a hernia, athsma and GD) I never saw a doctor (who wasn't my GP) until I ended up in hospital at 33 and 6 with PE that had not been diagnosed at an appointment the day before and a PPROM which resulted in the birth of DS the next morning. I was in hospital for a week after DS was born as my BP didn't fall after the birth and I really felt like I was neglected that whole time. Was this just a one off thing or the norm for public?

Maybe I should also note that I moved states during my pregnancy and no notes were transferred or requested apart from a very short referral letter by my first GP.
