Default Wearing make up with a young baby

I haven't put on make up for a long time. Want to do it now to feel good about myself when we go out shopping. DS tends to rub his face against mine or lick my face when i hold him. I'm worried if the make up would be toxic for him. Do you wear make up when you have to hold a young baby?

    It won't be toxic
I've always put make up on, since my babies were tiny babies. Never had an issue.

I probably would avoid him licking make up, I would be careful about what products I was using if baby licked my face. Katelyn is a shoulder sucker - can you redirect baby off your face? Or can you possibly skip the foundation?

as long as he isnt licking ur eyes that have mascara and eye liner and eye shadow he should be fine.
if your worried about him licking ur foundation try using one that is made from natural minerals. i know alot of companies say like smooth minerals but always read the label and if it has long words u cant pronouce then i would try to avoid it.

Thank you. Most of my make up products are the cheap ones from e.l.f. Cant afford expensive brands. I would probably just wear make up if DH is with us so he can hold DS. Only from the last 2 weeks that he started to rub his face on mine and 'kiss' my cheek, it's very cute :-)
