Co-sleeping with crawlers/rollers ...????

Well its bed sharing co sleeping....Anyway DD has started to crawl and roll ALOT. What happens now? What do you guys do to prevent them from falling off the bed??? I've got a bed rail on one side (her side) and I surround the other 2 sides with pillows which I doubt would do much!

When she wakes she is silent and I have found her twice now at the very edge of the bed. We have a King size so there's room but now what?
I can't keep checking on her every 2 seconds - although I do because I'm worried

How old is she? I was lucky DS would wake us up always before trying to get down, then at about 11 months I taught him how to get down from the bed ( backwards ) we also at that time put the bed up against the wall with a toddler rail on the other side ( so only 1 exit! )
Now at 18 months he still calls out for us with day naps and mornings we still get a big face in our face saying "Hi!" and if we don't get up he just gets down and plays on the floor with his toys!
As she is a mover I would just put pillows on floor just in case until she learns to get down by herself

My dd2 is 6 months and a half months and a few weeks ago when she started crawling I decided to take my bed apart and have the mattress on the floor and it's worked really well for me I've started teaching her there's an edge and she has to get down backwards but even if she falls off (which has happened once) it doesn't matter she won't be hurt it's taken the stress and constantly worrying away so we can both get a good night sleep

we taught dd how to get off beds/couch from 7mths when she started crawling. we also put a single mattress half under hte bed so if she fell off she landed there and I coudl tuck the mattress back under the bed during the day.

She only even fell off once (in 8mths of co-sleeping) and that was when she was next to DH. when next to me I had my arm around her and could sense her moving and in my sleep tuck her in closer to me.

she also rarely moved too far from the boob.

Thanks guys. She's 9 months today and as of this morning were teaching her to reverse off the bed rather than dive head first. Thank gd it's a low bed
