Cant make a photo as they suddenly disappeared after I fell pregnant.

I had 2 bumps. One on the middle of each hand, on my "heart" line. They were itchy and because they were on the lines, my skin would move when I would open or close my hands and that would trigger an itch.
I do think a lot of it was a mind over matter thing. They only really itched when I was actively thinking of them. Though the scratching of the bumps with long nails also became a habit.
They have been there for as long as I can remember. I remember at school when I was bored I would draw tiny faces on them or just poke the sharp end of a pencil in them to stop the itch (that was there because I was bored so I started thinking of the lumps lol).

Saw a GP who told me it was nothing, just get over it. Saw a dermatologist who said pretty much the same thing. So yeah, I just lived with it.

I even thought that if I was murdered and chopped up, my parents could identify me by looking at the lumps on my hand

They look like something a friend of mine has, that is essentially little pockets of fat gathering there. It has a name... haha...

I have them on my thumbs, a couple of my fingers, the palm of one hand and the sole of one foot.

They are a form of wart but are completely benign, non contagious and nothing to worry about. I've had them since I was a child and occasionally one gets a little more raised and then is gone and occasionally a new one appears. They are not irritated by anything, nor are they fluid filled or seem to be above the top layer of skin. Just hard little lumps that don't really get in the way and only, really just puzzle you as to why and how they are there!

    Re: Hannahly's pic....

i think these are what i have on the bottom of one of my feet!! Ive had them for ages (like, a couple of years?) and some days they are more raised than others depending on what shoes i wear. I finally asked my doc and she thought they might be warts (mind you shed never seen anything similar lol), she froze a couple of small ones nearly 2 weeks ago, but it hasnt seemed to have affected them at all?!

That makes sense - so I don't have cankles, just fat Achilles!
