My wall. I messaged my sister to check. So apparently, only people who are your fb friend can post to your wall outside the group as long as you have your privacy set to friends only. So if you accept (or send) any friend requests. Thats who needs to know ot to mention the IVF What's on the group wall stays on the group wall, it's like Vegas ;P

Hi ladies, I just wanted to say thank you so much all your support. Advice taken. I went to community health who put me in touch with a lactation consultant and she did a home visit today. Harrison also saw a speech pathologist to check his attachment. He is not attaching the best or sucking correctly but they think it is more because he is so frustrated for sucking for an hour and not getting much out. The new LC thinks because of my breast reduction and the rough birth my hormones and body has not produced enough milk. We are continuing the motilium and hope that that works, if not they have recommneded comp feeding. And while I was a mess yesterday, feeling like a failure and upset that I can't produce enough for him I feel better today and they made sense in saying that healthy, happy baby who is able to learn is more important than continually beating myself up about breastfeeding.

I'm spending so much time fighting with him to get on the breast he is absolutely exhausted and the takes an hour to top up with formula, is overtired and cranky and won't sleep and the cycle tarts again. So I will be madly pumping as well as putting him on the breast, but reducing the time he feeds so he doesn't get so upset while he is on me. They said it's quite normal for someone who has had a breast reduction to comp feed not including the start little Harrison had to life. I'm feeling a little better about it all and we will keep plugging away...

Bimbie - that's horrible not even an hour of sleep! Don't you love men, they think there is a quick fix for everything and don't quite get that no sleep thing! I hope that you got some more last night!

Melzey - we have an ergo, we were lucky enough that a friend bought ours for us for our baby shower. We haven't used it yet, but I'm feeling much better 4 weeks post Caesar so I'm sure it won't be long now till it's pulled out of the cupboard. My dogs sleep inside too and the staffy snores and farts all night too! Like you, I don't to put them out in the cold. My collie thinks it is his job to protect Harrison and if anyone picks him and he cries Jasper makes sure that aharrison is ok. Last night Harrison was having some tummy time and Jasper gave the baby one of his toys and then lay down next to him and lay his over Harrison's tummy. It was so gorgeous. I was too slow to get a photo of it though.

Tracey - I have those dreams too, my friend calls them phantom cries! I wake in a panic thinking I have fallen asleep with him in bed then I check his moses basket and he is in there. It is a horrible feeling! Wow for the weight gain, that is great!

Vikki - I hear with the settling problems, I hope it gets better soon. I know how tiring it is.

Also happy to try the fb page. Do I pm you Melzey?

Ree bee - I have mcn's too, until now Harrison has been too little to use them, but I put him in one this morning, so cute in it. I will still disposables when we are out and about and I think at night time too. I have itti bitti's too, bought all on speacial. How are you finding them?

Vesper - LOL, that would have been an exciting night feed! Your poor DH must have had his heart jump in his throat hearing that at night.

sorry, was a bit slow responding here, but we have got you on the page now.. Wow, you have been thriugh alot in Harrisons little life.. im glad the LC worked out for you its true there is no point beating yourself up about it. i can understand being upset though. your puppoes sound Very cute!! toy sharing, gross thats soo sweet. im still getting used to the ergo, i am wondering if i need the infant insert for it. Brody is 12 pounds, and the website says they shoudnt need it after that but his little legs just dont look confortable.

    Morning Mummy's

Our first night at home went well. I haven't had a chance to catch up on where everyone is at so I will do that when I get the opportunity. I was so emotional yesterday arvo when we left the hospital not real sure what that was about. Day 4 baby blues maybe? I too would like to join the FB group to I'm sure if I read back it will tell me what I need to do. Only as I find FB better for sharing pics etc and I want to show off our little man . But I will still check both. First morning home and still in my PJs so I should probably get organised for our first full day at home. As Hamish came a week early I didn't get all the things done I wanted to so I guess I will get them done just a little slower now

Have a great day I hope we do

    hi all

i dont use FB that much but im happy to join.

just curious..i have the baby bjorn carrier ive put E in it twice once she was ok last time she cried a bit but i find it squashes my bbs a bit.....my BFF had the ergo so i might get her to bring it over to try....anyone know how these two carriers differ??

    welcome back home mcG.

mmmm im still waiting for my home visit from the CHN....i had an appt last week but THEY screwed up the times (arrived 2 hrs earlier than they said and we were out) but tried to say it was kinda my fault...mmmmmm then they rang back wanting next day appt but said between 11-2pm and i said will be here after 12.30pm but they couldnt do that....mmmmm..and said they would call friday to re book and no call.........dodgy.

well my neice is 8 weeks old and has slept thru the past 2 nights!!! omg im so jelous but what kind of state would ur bbs be in i wonder???

sorry im not up to date with where everyone is....E is ok, i havent had her weighed this week yet tho. i just find that if she doesnjt go to bed til around 11pm some night im really tired the enxt day cos i miss out onabout an extra 2 hrs night sleep. i tried feeding her without the sheild on the L side and she is ok BUT she still doesnt latch on well and leave a blanched white spot on the nipple..so i put it back on for most of the feed and then take it off later as she will fuss a bit once the flo slows down..

Hi McG, welcome home! There is a big hormonal release day that most of us get after having a baby. Day three or four is usually when it happens. It's bloody awful! I had it on my birthday with DD.. that was why we thought FB was better. We can set privacy to what is shared on there. I'll explain a bit more about that below. Happy organizing!

Hi JFB, I'll put the details below for you and MCG.. I just bought an ergo the other day. I tried on the baby Bjorne but I found more weight was carried in the shoulders with it and that is bad for me. I'm prone to getting pain across my shoulder blades anyway. I can't remember with the bjorn, but with the ergo the only thing against my bbs is Brody. I am an f cup and I don't find it squishy. Maybe go to a shop and try one one just see how it fits for you.

With the fb group, we have made it a secret group so only people in the group can see the group, it's members or their posts. So once you are in the group, you can see everyone's posts in the group regardless if you are friends with them on fb or not. But your other friends can't see that you are on a group. It's just called "yummy mummies".. You will need to be fb friends with someone in the group so they can add you. I'll pm you both my email address so you can add me if you like, then I can add you to the group. When you send the Fb friend request can you also message me so I know who you are please?

Sunrose- I am so glad the LC helped. I know how you feel when they tell you your supply is low. I hope it increases soon but if not remember that what tour little guy needs most is love and care however you feed him.

McG- I am glad the first night went well. Don't worry about organized. I figure you have a reason to stay in your pj's for a day.

JFB- the ergo carries them in more of a sitting position and it has a waist belt that distributes the weight different. Sounds like the CHN is stuffing you around. Just what the mother of a newborn needs.
