Tracy -How did you NOT hit him? Gees, A$$hole indeed! Yay for some sleep, well done Piper. Yes, a shower in peace really is nice sometimes, isn't it?
Vesper - Good decision on the pill. Seriously, 6 months will go so quickly anyway, so why bother popping those stupid pills. Breastfeeding is supposed to stop conception normally anyway. Pfft, after all the effort to get your beautiful princess, I think you should have the carrier you want - tell your DH the other one is way too uncomfortable.
Bimbie - Woohoo, go Tatjana, too. Some well behaved little bubbas last night! It sounds like the wedge might be the thing, especially as ahe'll sleep in an upright position in her swing all the time. I hope it really is the answer and you start getting some sleep yourself. As for the pooing, are you eating heaps of vegetables yourself? It might just be me, but I find if I'm not eating my veggies, Charli can go a couple of days without pooing. Now I make sure I eat veggies every night for tea and she's been going once a day.
JFB - Go you on getting the roots dyed, I bet you feel so much better! How I wish I could do the same, but I desperately need a haircut and want to get some foils at the same time. I have to wait for my Mum to visit in a few weeks though, as nobody else will look after Miss Charli for me.
Melzey - I know all too well how frustrating 3 year olds are! Not only was 3 my least favourite age for DS, I was a child care worker for a few years. What you're doing by encouraging her to use her words and making her say what she wants instead of pointing is great. At the same time, I can't believe you're encouraging her to talk! DS was and is the most brilliant talker, so much so thet we say he has verbal diarhoea, he always has to have the last word, drives us MAD!!! I don't blame you for going off the pill if that's what it does to you, I find it really difficult on the body too. I'm sure you would cope just fine if the powers that be decided it would be funny to bless you with another so soon after not blessing you at all for so long, lol. Oh, and ramble as much as you like, your rambles are usually full of useful information
.
AFM - Ok, it just took me over an over to type this. I took Charli to the clinic this morning to make sure she's still putting on enough weight now she sleeps through the night, and the nurse scared the heck out of me. The look on her face was aghast and she was worried I'd end up with mastitis. Then when I said my boobs had adapted and they were full but not engorged in the morning, she was worried my milk supply was diminishing too much and I wasn't feeding her enough. Finally she weighed her and measured her, and she's gained 316g and grown 2cm in 2 weeks
. The nurse said to keep doing whatever I'm doing because it's working and I'm one very lucky Mummy - phew!!!
