Tracy - How did you NOT hit him? Gees, A$$hole indeed! Yay for some sleep, well done Piper. Yes, a shower in peace really is nice sometimes, isn't it?

Vesper - Good decision on the pill. Seriously, 6 months will go so quickly anyway, so why bother popping those stupid pills. Breastfeeding is supposed to stop conception normally anyway. Pfft, after all the effort to get your beautiful princess, I think you should have the carrier you want - tell your DH the other one is way too uncomfortable .

Bimbie - Woohoo, go Tatjana, too. Some well behaved little bubbas last night! It sounds like the wedge might be the thing, especially as ahe'll sleep in an upright position in her swing all the time. I hope it really is the answer and you start getting some sleep yourself. As for the pooing, are you eating heaps of vegetables yourself? It might just be me, but I find if I'm not eating my veggies, Charli can go a couple of days without pooing. Now I make sure I eat veggies every night for tea and she's been going once a day.

JFB - Go you on getting the roots dyed, I bet you feel so much better! How I wish I could do the same, but I desperately need a haircut and want to get some foils at the same time. I have to wait for my Mum to visit in a few weeks though, as nobody else will look after Miss Charli for me.

Melzey - I know all too well how frustrating 3 year olds are! Not only was 3 my least favourite age for DS, I was a child care worker for a few years. What you're doing by encouraging her to use her words and making her say what she wants instead of pointing is great. At the same time, I can't believe you're encouraging her to talk ! DS was and is the most brilliant talker, so much so thet we say he has verbal diarhoea, he always has to have the last word, drives us MAD!!! I don't blame you for going off the pill if that's what it does to you, I find it really difficult on the body too. I'm sure you would cope just fine if the powers that be decided it would be funny to bless you with another so soon after not blessing you at all for so long, lol. Oh, and ramble as much as you like, your rambles are usually full of useful information .

AFM - Ok, it just took me over an over to type this . I took Charli to the clinic this morning to make sure she's still putting on enough weight now she sleeps through the night, and the nurse scared the heck out of me. The look on her face was aghast and she was worried I'd end up with mastitis. Then when I said my boobs had adapted and they were full but not engorged in the morning, she was worried my milk supply was diminishing too much and I wasn't feeding her enough. Finally she weighed her and measured her, and she's gained 316g and grown 2cm in 2 weeks . The nurse said to keep doing whatever I'm doing because it's working and I'm one very lucky Mummy - phew!!!

Bimbie- glad there was some relief

Reebee- the nurses have a very narrow view on how to do things. I am glad Charli is gaining weight so well.

    Vesper- thanks

I told him there was nothing wrong with her. That she was fine. I thought of a million things I could have said afterwards (like at least she doesn't look like you) but I was so shocked I didn't have a good retort at the time.

Tracy- that's me, I can never think of something good to say at the time!

Reebee- maybe she should have just weighed Charli first

Me, winter and my two terriers made it to the park and back today! My dogs are a bit crazy, so that's more of an accomplishment then it sounds, lol. Also gave W my first solo bath... It wasn't as thorough as when DH and i do it together but at least it was done

Tracy - It sucks that you can never think of a perfect retort until well after, grrrr

Vesper - I know, she definitely should have weighed her before scaring me for nothing. Well done on the walk and the solo bath. I hope you were more organised than me - today when I was bathing Charli, I forgot the towel and I didn't have my 5 year old servant to run and grab it. Luckily I had a blanket nearby.

Bimbie - Great news that you got T's birth certificate, drat that the PP was stuffed up. Good luck with Centrelink, you might be off the phone by midnight if you're really lucky.

AFM - Gotta go get the naughty princess up and rock her to sleep by the sound of it. Little spoilt bum!!!

Reebee, haha. I know right, crazy.. .. She talks all the time, she never shuts up actually. She can say how she feels about things and and tell us what she wants most of the time. But if I say, hi Ellie how are you. She doesn't understand how to respond.. As much as I hate being pregnant, and labor (or caesarean), and i told everyone to shoot me if I said this when pregnant with Brody, AND I only wished for two kids... Secretly, i would love to have another one. But this time I will leave it to nature and given the past, I'll be very surprised.. My only concern right now is the net 13 weeks, and what would happen to my caesarean scar. Hmm ..I think I might be a little nuts .. Yay Charli, yay you! I so Jealous on the sleeping through.. oh, almost 8 weeks.. Time for the next fussy period for you?

Tracey, I hate that.. Sometimes I can be really quick on a response, but when I miss my chance it bothers me. What a tosser tho!

vesper, that is an awesome effort .. I have had a few terriers, I prefer to call them terrors. I have always found They can be a little nuts .. Yay on solo bathing. It's strange how used to having help you get. Man I am feeling DH being back at work.

Yay Bimbie! 45minutes! Wow.. I went into Medicare, I found tha much easier than Centrelink.. I have not had to deal with them since I was a teenager and I had forgotten exactly how frustrating they are! Good luck!

Well, I'm not sure that I'll be staying on soy. Brody's getting a variety of things that are symptomatic of a reaction back. (cramping, diorreah, eczema, generally unsettled) for some reason i didn't realize a little sooner what this probably means.. It's not just dairy, but soy as well. .. I'll stick with it today and see how we go but I'll be surprised if I don't have to cut it back out. in other news, after only having a few cat naps through the day. This little man woke at 2 after finally settling at 8.30.. Yay B.. Mumma really needed that little catch up in sleep!

Vesper- she can't be that dirty anyway. Does Winter like the bath?

Bimbie- I hate centrelink. How long did you wait?

Reebee- not spoilt. She just wants the proper princess treatment.

Melzey- bummer about the soy. Yay for the sleep. It's like 2 steps forward one back huh?

Well we got Piper into bed and crashed early. Then there was a knock on the door. It was the police. I am freaking out thinking the only reason the police come to your door after 10 at night is bad news. They were at the wrong house! Our neighbour had called them about a car being broken into. Never been so relieved.

Reebee- five year old servant! Advantage of a larger gap between kids, hey

Tracy- she doesn't mind the bath, she always has a slightly surprised look on her face when she's in there! Confession: I had to use the laundry trough (with her bath seat) as the bath on the kitchen bench is too high for me to feel confident holding her on my own! Glad the police were at the wrong place...

Melzey- you are such a champion for cutting all that stuff out. That must be so hard. I love my food and not sure how I would do in your situation...

Winter is having a 'frantic' feed: sometimes she's nice and relaxed and sucks away calmly and other times she sucks like crazy, complete with heavy breathing and snorting!

Hi Tracey, yea, I think I would have pooped myself too! Thank goodness they were at the wrong house. Yea, it kinda does feel like that sometimes but we will get there

Vesper, aww thanks. It's funny, because I love my food too. (disclaimer: no I'm not an alco ) But it's kinda like giving up alcohol for me, I'm not missing it as much as I thought I would. With the exception of a good coffee! Wow, I miss that ALOT! it bothers me when Brody does that, he always ends up gulping air and then he obviously gets wind and it's not so bad now he is learning how to get it up easier but seriously, they get fed, like, all the time. Can they really be hungry enough to need to go frantic on that?

Well, we got up at 2.30 back to bed at 4 and slept until 6. Yay me, I feel like I slept for a change now, brody has gone back to sleep and I am off to get dressed before DD wakes up. I am getting a visitor today, someone I haven't seen since school! She has a little girl who is two days older than Brody. Should be a good day

Edit_ I was too slow dd on my lap..
