Some friends came over this afternoon. H is pregnant, and due on Friday. She was a size 6, and her hubby is really skinny too. They're expecting their bub to be 4kgs! Its odd cos she was so much smaller than I was during my PG, and unless the OB is very wrong, her bub will be a kilo heavier than Alex.

I must be coping better, I didn't cry today when Alex "gave" me my mother's day card and present this morning!
Vikki I have been waiting ages for Tats birth certificate I need to call then tomorrow we sent a week after she was born :/

Vesper, I will never forget that feeling with DD. DH went back to work and I was all lost. It never bothered me if he was outside or somewhere else in the hose, but it totally threw me when he went back to work. I hope you and Winter have a great day! i bet your DH misses you and her like crazy today. My DH is starting back tomorrow and I think I'll feel all lost again.

Vesper- I hope it is a quiet, stress free day.

Well I am of to see the LC. Hopefully this helps. The last 2 times I have seen the CHN Piper has refused to feed. I think she has been picking up on my anxiety so fingers crossed this goes better than that.

We just got our birth certificate the other day - and tates only 2 weeks old!

Vesper - hold tight today. I dread the day DH is back at work. Not because of his help but because of his company, we really are a team. Hope winter gives you an easy day of it. X
Tracy - goodluck at the LC I really hope you make some progress, it is so draining, I know.
Vicki - glad you've had a perkier day, take it easy hun, bit by bit things will get better

I just had a GP appointment and bought up my night sweats with her. Honestly, each feed I wake up for I am DRENCHED! I have to change outfits it's that bad. It makes me feel quite ill too - its that horrible cold sweat feeling, icky. She has prescribed a very very low dose estrogen patch to see if that helps. Anyone else getting night sweats?
About to now go to obs for surgery follow up. I feel a very needed afternoon nap coming up. The general sleep deprivation feeling is really starting to kick in...

LR I wake up sweating for feeds as well in fact I completely undress while feeding to try and cool down, I put it down to heating but I could be wrong? I might mention it to ob :/

Tatjana had an awful night up every two hours for feeds not like her at all.. She also has a extremely stuffy nose I hope she hasn't caught my cold?

I'm getting night sweats too. I thought it was the heater, even though I'm turning it right down to 18! Even my legs are sweaty. Hmmm, guess it could be a hormonal thing instead...

Tracy- good luck with LC. Think I might need to see one too, I'm scared to take the nipple shield off, might need some help...

Bimbi- hope T doesn't have your cold poor little thing

Vesper – Ask around and find a good one. The one I saw was great.

Bimbie – I hope she doesn’t, the poor little thing. Fingers crossed the day is better.

LR – That sounds awful. I hope the estrogen helps.

    Melzey – Thanks

AFM – The LC was great. She was very reassuring and says Piper is doing great. She actually explained things and had me latching Piper on without a shield myself. The CHN always just said this is good/bad or did it herself. The LC actually showed me how to hold the breast to get her to latch and how to tell if Piper is feeding properly. I feel like I understand what is going on now. She also told me to give away the pumping That will save me so much more time. It was nice to have someone educate and explain rather than pass judgement. Piper fed like a champion and I was so much more relaxed. I am babbling I know but the relief is unbelievable. Now to see if we can keep it up alone
