    Default Transfer single parent to carer payment

    Hi I'm just wondering if anyone has done this or knows if it is possible
    I fell in love with you when you were in my womb but now i carry you in my heart instead of my arms

    I did, but changed back. For me, neither was enough to live off and PPS gives more flexibility for working.

    Just had a wait to see the paed to fill out forms, but centrelink was very quick.

    Ok well I already get carer allowance should pead need fill out another medical report do u think ?

    Yes, they are different forms. Once I got them to Centrelink it was 28 days and the difference backpaid.

    Thanks heaps rang up today they're posting forms to me they said its assessed differently to carer allowance

    I have and for me carers payment has worked out better. I am studying full-time so don't have to factor in the hassle with working.

    I'm also studying full time but they said I might not qualify cause DS is in school I'm not providing constant care which I think is BS

    I did it a few years ago and its better for me as my child had reached 6 and they wanted me to look for work which I couldnt as I am regional and do lots of trips to major city hospital for treatment .Even though she is in school I still need to be at home for when she gets sent home or cant go.I was told at the time I wouldnt get it as she was at school but got it first time I applyed so good luck
