Default What do you put in your salad?

And what salad dressings do you use...if any? Do you make your own salad dressings?

With my weightloss journey I basically eat salad all the time. When I'm hungry I have a salad...I have whatever everyone else has for tea but a smaller portion and make the rest up with salad.

So salad being such a big part of my diet these days, I like to try to mix it up a bit with different things....mainly dressings that will give it a different taste. So would really appreciate hearing some of your salad ideas.

I love honey mustard dressing. It's my absolute favourite. I have it with lettuce, cucumber, cajun chicken, red onion, DH has tomato and avocado on his, dry short noodle things, crushed cashew nuts and sour cream.
    Absolutely delicious!

A bit of everything really, lots of leafy greens, sprouts, little radishes, carrots, olives, tomatoes (especially little cherry tomatoes), chopped herbs, cucumber, dried craisins, sometimes I make a dressing with some almond oil, lemon and pink salt, sometimes I have it nude I also love adding a little cooked pumpkin, feta, or sliced boiled egg. Anything goes really.

My salad is normally baby spinach, rocket, low fat fetta, olives, red onion, shaved carrot, cherry tomatoes, avocado and sprouts (sometimes egg).
If I have any dressing it's just a bit fresh lime juice over the top.

Vinegar and Balsamic Vinegar are good and healthy salad dressings. I also like italian and french.

For salads I like Iceberg lettuce chopped, Cos lettuce chopped, Red Capsicum sliced, Green Capsicum sliced, Yellow Capsicum sliced, Tomatos cherry whole, Boiled Eggs sliced, Onion very finely sliced, Mushroom sliced, Cucumber chopped into sticks, Carrot grated, Grated cheese, Parmesan sometimes too.

That is a meal in itself.

Another combo I do is Iceberg Lettuce, Cos Lettuce, Grated Cheese, Cucumber, Crutons, Shaved Ham or Shaved Turkey. And if I want to mix it up more I will throw it on a wrap =)
